What is included in the tour?
– Taste 8 kind of foods and one beverage at 8 selected areas.
– Experienced tour guide with fluent English and with license.
– Insurance coverage. (You need to send us the name that you want to insured. Make sure the name is the same as written on the passport.)
What if I am a vegetarian or have food allergies?
You need to let us know what you can’t eat before booking the tour info[at]foodadventurefoodtours.com . We have vegetarian option available, halal, allergic to shrimp available but not for people who are on diet or detox or gluten intolerance. However, we really hate for our client to miss out on the delicious food we serve on the tour!
How safe is street foods in Thailand?
The safety of food depend on where you eat them. I can say most street foods are safe but not everything. Our tour serve the foods that save you a chance of going to the pharmacy. Thais eat a lot on the street and guarantee to be safe especially in Chinatown area which supervised by the authority. It is a part of Thai culture to eat on the side of the street.
Should I eat before coming to the tour?
You will get to taste multiple kind of foods so we advise you not to eat before coming to the tour, skip breakfast for a morning or lunch for an evening tour. Leave your stomach empty before the tour otherwise you wouldn’t get to experience the fullest of food tasting.
What cloth should I wear?
A short-sleeved light shirt, a pair of short pant with comfortable shoes since it is a walking tour. Always bring an umbrella since the weather forecast is unpredictable.
Where does the tour start and finish?
The detail of the meeting points are described in the ticket after payment made for each tour. We try to include the direction as detailed and easy to find as possible. And some Thai text in case you need local assistant.
What happen if I am late?
If you are late for less than 10 minutes, please contact us via email info[at]foodadventurefoodtours.com or call +66864481124 immediately so the guide can return to the meeting point to pick you up. If you are late for more than 20 minutes, you will be considered as “No Show”.
What if I missed the tour?
You will be mark as “No Show”. There will be no refund without exception. You can still rescheduled for future tour if there is tour running on your desire date.
What is the distance I have to walk?
The entire route is approximately 2 Kilometers or 1.3 Miles. There will be food stops along the way so you won’t drain out during the tour.
What is the age range of participants?
The tour is designated for everyone with any age group to participate comfortably.
Are the tours suitable for young children and toddlers?
We welcome children on our tour. There is discounted price for children under 12 year olds. We do not suggest you to bring strollers to the tour as the pathway isn’t uneven and cramped most of the time.
Are wheelchairs/strollers be brought on the tour?
Unfortunately, our tour does not have the capability to accommodate disabled. The walk path in Bangkok is not very friendly for wheelchair and stroller, the place where the tour take place have small stair cases. It is not advisable to bring wheelchairs and strollers for our tour. Please notify us in advance if attendees planning to bring in one.
Can I stop at other shop during the tour?
Because of time constraints we do not advise our client to stop at other shop during the tour. You can go back to the shop anytime after we finish the tour.
What is the size on each tour?
Minimum of 2 and maximum of 12 people for each tour.

Do I have to purchase tickets online and in advance?
We only accept payment online. The ticket can only be purchased online and 2 hours in advance before the tour begin for that day. All data transfers are encrypted and we have put several anti-fraud measures in place to ensure online retailers and third parties cannot access any credit card information or other sensitive data.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes, only for a big group of more than 8 attendees and above. For travel agency or corporate tour, please contact us via email@example.com for special rates.
Is the tour price included with gratuities expected?
Gratuities are not included in the price. It is welcome, but only in response to our ability to exceed your expectations. 100% of any tips are retained by our local guides.
Can my booking be changed or cancel?
Sometimes unexpected changes occur. Our cancellation policy allows changes to tickets per the following schedule:
- 75% of total sum refund for 7 or more days before original tour date.
- 50% refund of the total sum for 2 to 6 days before original tour date.
- No refund for 48 hours or less prior to your tour.
- Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late or after we have moved from our initial meeting spot, you may be considered a no-shows.
- No Shows: No refund without exception.
- Date Changes: Only permitted 48 hours in advance of original tour date and subject to Food Adventure requirements.
